Can't Wait for Books #1

So yesturday I was looking at my "to read" section on Goodreads (which I believe is now up to 90) and there are just way to many books that I want to read but are taking forever to come out. So here are a few.

Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (Between, #1)Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (Between #1) by April Genevieve Tucholke
Release Date: August 15th, 2013
Publisher: Dial
Format: Hardcover
Pages: 368

You stop fearing the devil when you’re holding his hand…

Nothing much exciting rolls through Violet White’s sleepy, seaside town…until River West comes along. River rents the guesthouse behind Violet’s crumbling estate, and as eerie, grim things start to happen, Violet begins to wonder about the boy living in her backyard. Is River just a crooked-smiling liar with pretty eyes and a mysterious past? Or could he be something more? Violet’s grandmother always warned her about the Devil, but she never said he could be a dark-haired boy who takes naps in the sun, who likes coffee, who kisses you in a cemetery...who makes you want to kiss back. Violet’s already so knee-deep in love, she can’t see straight. And that’s just how River likes it.

Blending faded decadence and the thrilling dread of gothic horror, April Genevieve Tucholke weaves a dreamy, twisting contemporary romance, as gorgeously told as it is terrifying—a debut to watch
(Goodreads)

This is the first book in a series so I don't really have anything to go off of but the synopsis was enough to get  me hooked. So now everytime I look at the expected publication date it makes me want to cry to the heavens; WHY IS THIS BOOK NOT OUT YET!!!!!!

The Fiery Heart (Bloodlines, #4)The Fiery Heart (Bloodlines #4) by Richelle Mead
Release Date: November 19th, 2013
Publisher: Razorbill
Format: Hardcover
Pages: 416

In The Indigo Spell, Sydney was torn between the Alchemist way of life and what her heart and gut were telling her to do. And in one breathtaking moment that Richelle Mead fans will never forget, she made a decision that shocked even her. . . .

But the struggle isn't over for Sydney. As she navigates the aftermath of her life-changing decision, she still finds herself pulled in too many directions at once. Her sister Zoe has arrived, and while Sydney longs to grow closer to her, there's still so much she must keep secret. Working with Marcus has changed the way she views the Alchemists, and Sydney must tread a careful path as she harnesses her profound magical ability to undermine the way of life she was raised to defend. Consumed by passion and vengeance, Sydney struggles to keep her secret life under wraps as the threat of exposure—and re-education—looms larger than ever.

Pulses will race throughout this thrilling fourth installment in the New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series, where no secret is safe
(Goodreads).

I am in love with Richelle Mead and her books, ever since I read Vampire Academy I've been hooked (do I use that word a lot). I didn't even think that I would like Bloodlines because I usually don't like spin- off series but I might even like Sydney as a main character better than Rose. Anyway I am so excited to read this, I can't wait to see whats next for Sydney.

Fall of Night (The Morganville Vampires, #14)
Fall of Night (Morganville Vampire #14) by Rachel Caine

Publisher: New American Library
Format: Hardcover
Pages: 352

Enrolled in a special advanced study program with Professor Irene Anderson, a former Morganville native, Claire is able to work on her machine, which is designed to cancel the mental abilities of vampires.

(Goodreads).

Theres not many people I know that don't love this series, I mean it's on it's 14th book and Rachel Caine manages to still make it amazing. I jsut have to keep reminding myself; "one more month, one more month...."

Sweet Peril (The Sweet Trilogy #2)
by Wendy Higgins
Release Date: April 30th, 2013
Publisher: HarperTeen
Format: Hardcover
Pages: 374

Anna Whitt, the daughter of a guardian angel and a demon, promised herself she’d never do the work of her father—polluting souls. She’d been naive to make such a vow. She’d been naive about a lot of things.

Haunted by demon whisperers, Anna does whatever she can to survive, even if it means embracing her dark side and earning an unwanted reputation as her school’s party girl. Her life has never looked more bleak. And all the while there’s Kaidan Rowe, son of the Duke of Lust, plaguing her heart and mind.

When an unexpected lost message from the angels surfaces, Anna finds herself traveling the globe with Kopano, son of Wrath, in an attempt to gain support of fellow Nephilim and give them hope for the first time. It soon becomes clear that whatever freedoms Anna and the rest of the Neph are hoping to win will not be gained without a fight. Until then, Anna and Kaidan must put aside the issues between them, overcome the steamiest of temptations yet, and face the ultimate question: is loving someone worth risking their life (
Goodreads)?

I read the first book in the trilogy last December and have been waiting for this book ever since. I can't even explain how great I think these books are, luckily I only have to wait about 3 more weeks for it to come out.

Now that you've listened to me, what books are you excited for?
